How it works
You start with at least one signal: a photo of a piece you own, a short text prompt, or (advanced) a Pinterest pin URL. We never ask you to connect your Pinterest account—pin links are optional one-off inputs.
Context we use
- Weather from your city (Open-Meteo) to suggest layers, fabrics, and footwear that match conditions.
- Occasion you pick (work, wedding guest, brunch, etc.) to steer formality and silhouettes.
- Style notes you optionally add (colors you avoid, shoe preferences, etc.).
Behind the scenes
Our server may call the Pinterest API using app credentials to turn a pasted pin (and/or your text and tags) into compact idea keywords that ground the outfit planner. If no API token is configured, we use a safe stub so the tool still works for demos.
With OPENAI_API_KEY set, we can run vision tagging on your photo and a structured outfit JSON model. Without it, you still get a sensible heuristic plan.
Shopping links
We link to retailer search results (not live product listings). Enable networks and tags via environment variables—see Disclosure. Disclosure.
